After rolling out an updated design to Gmail and Calendar earlier this year, Google has now applied their new design concepts to Google Drive.

If you use Google Drive to store your documents you'll see some minor changes over the next few days as the updates are rolled out worldwide. The changes don't affect the functionality of Google Drive or how you use it, they are purely visual.

So what's new?

Firstly, the User Interface is lighter with a white background instead of the grey.

The settings cog and help icons have moved to be in line with the search bar.

The Google Drive logo is now top left and your business logo is top right.

The font has also changed to match Google's new design style.

Google have created this GIF to show you which changes have been made.
